		<description><![CDATA[Thank you Marjorie for this book tip and intelligent commentary (as always). These grand themes were, and are, discussed in my family often and World War II is always on the background. 

Will read this soon. I loved The Hum of Concrete and Floundering, and was pleasantly surprised to recognise the first sentences of the latter: I heard Romy Ash reading on the Sydney Writers Festival and thought she was fantastic. Thanks for giving that story a follow-up:)]]></description>
